Run Studio started as a weekend project born from frustration. After searching for decent running calculators and finding nothing but ad-cluttered sites, paywalls, mandatory sign-ups, and tools scattered across a dozen tabs—I decided to build what I wished existed. That weekend turned into hundreds of hours, and here we are.
I'm Vinh, a Marine veteran and engineer who initially hated running. Years later, I was convinced to run my first marathon. Somewhere between obsessing over paces, tracking every mile, and finally crossing that finish line, I was hooked—on both the running and the data. I wanted to give back to the community that helped me fall in love with the sport.
Core promise: All running calculators will always be free—no ads, no paywalls. I'm exploring optional premium features like AI-powered coaching based on community feedback. If I build them, they'll help fund keeping these tools free forever.
